yesterday we had CIP (community involvement program) & then after school we all felt so tired & shag and we were abit sians. anyways after the short briefing we set of to the blocks we were in charged of! luckily the final collecting point is at block 919 so that means we no need to walk after collecting! wohoooohooo! & so we set of to collect the newspapers (: but before setting off there was a sudden group change. Darren left our group & Cher Ling joined our group. Leticia & Wenda changed group so final grouping was Xing Xuan, Leticia, Yong Cheng, Kenneth, Cher Ling & i! so i told them to set off from the top floor and collect our way down! so they were all very cooperative (: ya thank you much! (: anyway at first we realise that most of the household do not have anybody at home. & another thing the whole block have like 70% of the door bell spoil so we have to knock the door which is abit more troublesome & usually the owner of the house cant hear (: i was even telling them to calculate the probability of the door bell being spoilt. hahahhha.
Conclusions i made from this CIP about people living at Block 919 near Hougang Secondary School ;
- most of the residents love plants they have really nice plants.
- most are animal lovers. many of the houses i went knocking have dogs, cats & hamsters.
- even if they dont have newspaper they tell us nicely & dont avoid us.
- i think they really have close neighbour relationship cause the neighbours atually told us which houses no ppl so no need to waste our time.
- they are super friendly.
- they are super generous.
-*i specially thanks the people living in the 16th & 3rd floors && those that really were really nice to us & to those that donated a lot of things! ♥♥ thanks alot! ♥
what i learnt from doing this CIP ;
- hardwork really pays off.
- jobs that look simple doesnt mean it is simple.
- you have to give in all you have to what you do even if you dislike doing it & even if you treat it as a chore.
we camwhore a lot after collecting the newspapers & after moving all the things in to the lorry that was there to collect everything. so here are some photos really retarded though. (: me & my weird playground composition i told them to do! && thank you Swet Ling for being our camera women! ♥
