hello people! i m totally tired from Career's Day so this is just gonna be a shorty short short post! (: er today we had Career's Day which many schools doesnt seem to have. it is a day where we dress up in Smart Casual clothes and we attend polytechnic workshops & have career guidance talks & courses. this morning i slightly overslept so i didnt have time to make up. er met went to the bus stop at about 5:50am and chat with Xing Xuan on the phone while waiting for the bus. plan to meet Vivien in the bus after meeting Vivien Xing Xuan boarded the bus and we three walked to school! it was so early! it has been a long time since i went to school early :x oh so we reach school so early and we were the first few to be in school but Janus & Doreen were already there. so yup Janus helped the girls style their hair and touch up my hair cause he keep saying my style & never style no difference so but more wax loh! so yup went to buy maggi mee to eat cause too hungry & saw Miss Robert she say my outfit very nicee & is the perfect out fit (: hahahah. Happy! then yup blah blah blah. then went to the libary for the Poly & JC talks. first, Singapore Polytechnic School of Business. second, Nanyang Junior College. third, Singapore Polytechnic School of Chemical & Life Sciences. break. & lastly, Singapore Polytechnic School of Design. so after that we went to Furama hotel @ Havelock Road.
we had a talk by Christian Chua about how to find the right career for ourselves and how to be successful. then after was the second talk in Furama Hotel which is about Dining & Social Etiquette by Elaine Heng. i think she one of the miss Singapore Universe Pageant winner! okay after we finish the second talk we had our lunch.
The Lunch Menu:
-Cream of Mushroom Soup ( quite nice, but slightly too thick & portion totally little && not very warm when served )
-Chicken Chop with Brussels Sprouts, Carrots & Mashed Potatoes ( Brussels Sprouts was does taste nice it is cause i do not like the vegetable itself. Mashed Potatoes are worst then those made my machines. & the Chicken Chop that has very soft meat but yet very tough & rubbery skin && the meat has practically no taste even though it has been seasoned )
-(Custard & Egg )Pudding ( too sweet, and bitter at the same time seems like sugar was free )
-Coffee & tea ( i drank the coffee i think it was nice not super nice but okay )
after we left Furama Hotel, we were suppose to go home our self cause they were not fetching us back. so decided to go walk walk first before going home. Jason & Leonard tag along but eventually split and we went separate ways, took bus 123 to orchard walked, shopped & bought brownies for daddy & mummy (: after that went home.
i hate the shoe i bought. it hurt my leg! i had NEVER EVER had so much difficulty with heels before loh! i m super upset by it and i suffered extremely badly! i got all fed up cause of the pain i was enduring for the whole day! i have lots of wounds on my feet now ): thank you Xing Xuan for being my support today :D
too bad i didnt take photos with Sooern. Sooern next time we both go out must take lots of photos ar? like alot alot! (:
